Legendary rock 'n' roll icon Sir Paul McCartney has announced five new North American arena dates on the critically acclaimed "Out There" tour, including one in Buffalo. McCartney will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 22.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and range from $253.50 to $29.50 (includes $3.50 facility fee). Tickets can be purchased at the First Niagara Center box office, online at www.tickets.com or by phone at 888-223-6000.

A random handbill policy will be in effect. Tickets are subject to applicable service charges, unless purchased at the arena.

Those with an American Express card can purchase tickets before the general public, starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.

McCartney is slated to perform Oct. 17 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

Hailing from Liverpool, England, Sir Paul is, of course, most famous for performing with the Beatles. McCartney also led the band Wings and has been a highly successful solo artist.
