Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Boulevard Mall Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present adoptable dogs Sonny, Cher and Hope from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Boulevard Mall (Sears Court) on Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road in Amherst. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit HON's dogs, find out about the adoption process, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

Donations of badly needed Science Diet and Purina One Dog foods will be gratefully accepted. Information and tickets for a Krolick's chicken barbecue, hosted by Raintree Island Apartments in September, will be available for a $10 pre-sale purchase.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 335 animals. HON operates solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.
