Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present adoptable dogs Sonny, Cher and Hope from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Boulevard Mall (Sears Court) on Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road in Amherst. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit HON's dogs, find out about the adoption process, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

Donations of badly needed Science Diet and Purina One Dog foods will be gratefully accepted. Information and tickets for a Krolick's chicken barbecue, hosted by Raintree Island Apartments in September, will be available for a $10 pre-sale purchase.
