Classic car show at Niagara County Fair

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County presents the 17th annual classic car show, on Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Niagara County Fair. Niagara's Choice Credit Union sponsors this event.

The car show will be held, rain or shine, along the north and south side of the administration driveway. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon with judging from noon to 3 p.m. Awards will be presented at 3:45 p.m.

Plaques will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place class winners. Grand prize plaques will be awarded for special classes. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 vehicles entered in the show. The entry fee for this year's event is $15 and includes driver and one passenger.

Jukebox Tonight will provide "oldies" music throughout the car show.

The Niagara County Fair will run from Aug. 5-9 and include new entertainment, food, 4-H animals and exhibits, local vendors and much more - all in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Net proceeds from the fair support CCE-Niagara County programming, which benefits Niagara County children and families.
