Opportunities Unlimited: 18th annual fundraiser to take place at The Brickyard

Proceeds to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities

The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q. is hosting Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara's 18th annual Celebrity Bartending Night from 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. The event will benefit the more than 600 individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities the agency serves.

On hand to serve up beverages as celebrity bartenders are former Buffalo Sabres player Andrew Peters, First Niagara Bank's Annette Tomlin, Jeff Tedesco of Tedesco Construction Services, the Rev. Msgr. David LiPuma of St. Peter's Church, Dr. David Bonnevie of Dental Care Associates, Chris Tybor of ChrisFit Personal Training, Sam Lehr of National Maintenance Contracting Corp. and Mark Laurrie from Niagara Falls High School.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.opportunitiesunlimited.org, or at the door the day of the event. Price includes admission, entertainment and buffet. There will be a basket auction and other special drawings attendees can participate in during the evening

Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara is dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for people of all ages with intellectual and other developmental disabilities while providing the resources for them to reach their greatest potential, achieve their goals, learn to live independent lives and become active participants in their communities.
