Photos are being accepted for a summer contest; visitors and residents are encouraged to enter
The Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. has announced the "Explore Niagara USA Fun Photo Contest." Get involved by submitting Instagram or digital photos on Twitter, using the tag #ExploreNiagaraUSA or upload directly on Facebook.
Entries should capture summertime fun in Niagara County -the great outdoors, iconic attractions, wine, food and accommodations. Snaps of the Niagara USA landscape will qualify, as well.
NTCC will select winners based on creativity. All photos must be submitted via @NiagaraFallsUSA Instagram or Twitter accounts, by tagging #ExploreNiagaraUSA or by uploading directly on Facebook. Creativity should not be limited to the photos. NTCC encourages participants to include appropriate hashtags that describe what they saw, such as #creativeclicks, #lovethelocks or #capturethecataract. Photos can be viewed on Facebook under the same handle.
One winner will be chosen weekly, for three weeks, and will receive a GoPro Hero camera. One grand prizewinner will be selected Aug. 21 and awarded a Nikon D3200 digital SLR.
