Dementia Care Conference in Niagara County

Family members who provide care for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia are encouraged to attend a free Dementia Care Conference from 1:30-4:30 p.m. July 30 at The John Duke Senior Center, 1201 Hyde Park Blvd., Niagara Falls.

Topics will include:

  • "The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia & Alzheimer's"
  • "10 Tips for Caregivers"
  • "Healthy Habits for a Healthy Brain"

There is no charge to attend the conference, but registration is required. Call 1-800-272-3900.

The event is sponsored by the Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Information about Alzheimer's disease, community resources and other educational programs is available on the chapter's website: www.alz.org/WNY.
