Niagara County Fair organizers expect children and families to have a blast Aug. 5-9 with this schedule of events and activities:

•Returning to the Niagara County Fair is the CCE Agriculture Discovery Zone. This fun and educational area for children will be an ideal spot to let your kids play and discover while you take a break and watch them from the sidelines.

•When you are planning your day at the Niagara County Fair, schedule 30 to 40 minutes to see and do everything in the Ag Discovery Zone. Located in the Merchants Building, you will find the "Corn Corral" for sandbox-type fun, a reading zone for quiet reading, a kids coloring station, old-fashioned checker boards and your very own "Food Journey Passport." With your passport, you can experience a food adventure as you travel through the food system.

•When you are finished with your travels, stop by the "Bicycle Rodeo" held daily during the fair. Here, children ages 3-7 can ride trikes and bikes in the "Kiddie Canyon." Kids ages 7-12 can participate in the rodeo to become a "Bike Ranger" after they complete their training.

A bicycle rodeo is a safety clinic that encourages children to ride their bicycles safely, follow the rules of the road and become lifelong riders.

The 2015 Niagara County Fair is organized and operated by CCE Niagara County, a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization with programming that benefits children, families, farmers, seniors and communities across Niagara County.
