Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Arts Center will present its 12th annual "Animation Fest," titled "Transforming Vision," at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. This family-friendly program, curated by the staff at Squeaky Wheel, highlights emerging and internationally known animators, such as The Brothers McLeod, Daisy Jacobs and animation legend Vince Collins

This event is part of the museum's "First Friday" activities, supported by M&T Bank. Admission to the museum and Squeaky Wheel's "Animation Fest" is free and open to the public on this day.

"Animation Fest" also will be screened Saturday, Sept. 12, at Silo City, as part of the all-day screening event "Urban Drive-In." It is set to travel around Western and Central New York during the fall.

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is located at 1285 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.
