Presale Canal Fest tickets available

Discounted ride tickets for Canal Fest, which runs July 19 to 26, are now available online at www.canalfest.org.

Presale tickets allow 10 rides for $20 (except the Speed, which requires two presale tickets). Canalfest.org visitors should click the presale ticket button on the site before noon July 20. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Carousel Society booth near the center of the midway during normal hours for Canal Fest.

There is a convenience fee of $2 per 10-ride card when purchased online. Presale tickets can also be purchased in person at the Carrousel Museum on Thompson Street, Budwey's, The Corner Store on Jackson at Oliver streets, and Tops Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda; and Lane Jewelers, Tops Niagara Street and Tops Young Street in the City of Tonawanda.

Presale tickets are available at these locations until July 19. These tickets can be used any time during Canal Fest 2015 and or can be saved for use another year — or at another event where Powers Great American Midway is the ride concessionaire.

A percentage of the proceeds from ride tickets will benefit the daily operation of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum.
