The Buffalo Sabres today announced more than 10,000 tickets have been sold for the team's development camp scrimmage on Friday at First Niagara Center, and the organization anticipates a record crowd in excess of 15,000 fans for the event.

Tickets for the scrimmage are still on sale for $10, and can be purchased at the Sabres box office or online at Sabres.com. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets before arriving for the scrimmage to reserve their seats and avoid long lines at the ticket window before the game. The box office is open until 5 p.m. today and will be open from 9 a.m. until the end of the second period of the scrimmage Friday.

For fans attending the scrimmage, parking in the First Niagara Center and HARBORCENTER ramps will be $5, and parking in the surface lots between Mississippi Street and Michigan Avenue will cost $3. Gates will open at 6 p.m., with the scrimmage scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

The teams will each participate in a pre-scrimmage skate Friday morning, with one team skating at 9:45 a.m. and the other taking the ice at 11:15 a.m. after a short break to resurface the ice.

Fans who are unable to attend the scrimmage can visit First Niagara Center at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 12, to see the Sabres' final development camp practice and 3-on-3 tournament.
