NCP golf tournament to honor Ulatowski

Niagara Cerebral Palsy is holding its 23rd annual Matthew J. Murphy Jr. Golf Tournament June 12 at Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course, 4560 Creek Road, Lewiston.

At this year's event, Dr. Jerome J. Ulatowski II will receive the Chairman's Award, which is given to an individual who generously and continuously supports NCP and the individuals and families it serves.

Ulatowski, who has served as the agency's medical director for the past 25 years, will receive the award for his dedication to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., awards and auctions. Prizes this year include Dick's Sporting Goods gift certificates, golf clubs, signed jerseys and other sports memorabilia, and gift certificates for restaurants, businesses and other venues.

The event features longest-drive, closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-one and double-or-nothing contests, along with a basket auction and 50/50s.

WKBW's Keith Radford and "The Voice of the Bills" John Murphy, whose father the tournament is named after, will split hosting duties.

NCP is a nonprofit corporation delivering innovative services to individuals with disabilities.
