15th annual 'Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park' date announced

Volunteer committee plans fun-filled free day for Niagara residents ages 55 and up

Volunteers from agencies across Niagara County have once again spent the year organizing, soliciting donations and planning a free, fun-filled day for the older adult residents of Niagara County (ages 55 and up).

The "Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park" committee has announced the annual event will take place this year from 10 am to 1 pm Thursday, June 4, at the Calvin Richards Senior Center in the Town of Niagara's Veterans' Memorial Park, 7000 Lockport Road.

The event's mission is to promote health, wellness and activity for senior residents in Niagara County. The day includes:

A health and resource fair                                       

Four different walk courses to choose from

Lunch

Entertainment and a free raffle

This event will take place rain or shine.
