Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has appointed Kendra McClain director of emergency management and community programs effective immediately.

McClain, who has more than 15 years of health care industry experience, is a graduate of Niagara University and Medaille College, where she was awarded a master's degree in business administration.

She most recently served as health home administrator for the Greater Buffalo United Accountable Healthcare Network, where she provided administrative leadership and oversight of care coordination services for health home enrollees.

McClain previously was site director of the Community Health Center of Buffalo's Niagara Falls satellite, where she oversaw day-to-day clinical and administrative operations, and a regional assistant in the Buffalo office of U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

In her new role, she will oversee emergency planning and disaster preparedness for the medical center and its satellite sites and provide administrative oversight for medical center community programs.

She replaces Anne Passalugo, who has become the medical center's compliance officer.
