Faculty members at Niagara University granted tenure, promotion

Niagara University's board of trustees granted tenure and approved a slate of promotions to several faculty members during a meeting held May 6.

Shannon Hodges, Ph.D., and Jinyan Huang, Ph.D., both faculty members of Niagara's College of Education, were promoted to full professor. Hodges also earned tenure.

The following faculty members were promoted to associate professor and earned tenure:

  • Christopher Aquino, CFM, CMA, accounting
  • Edward Hutton, CFA, finance
  • John Keller, Ph.D., philosophy
  • Anna McNab, Ph.D., business management
  • Shannon Risk, Ph.D., history
  • Joseph Scarcelli, Ph.D., hospitality and tourism management
  • Douglas Tewksbury, Ph.D., communication studies
  • Christopher Wright, Ph.D., business management
