Jonathan Dingey receives first place in the Stock Division from Heath Mazenauer of the Grand Island Lawnmower Racing Series.

First race in Lawn Mower Series held

The Grand Island Lawnmower Racing Series event was held Saturday, May 2, on Whitehaven Road by Town Hall. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kaegebein Playground Committee at Kaegebein Elementary School. Spectators enjoyed the lawn mower drags, kids liked the two bounce houses provided by American Bounce Rentals, and everyone was able to feast on food and beverages provided by Sweet Melody's, Pizza Amoré, the Rotary Club of Grand Island hot dog sale and Say Cheese Pizza.

Scot Endres is presented first prize for his entry in the Pro-Stock Division.
