Cultural Alliance of Niagara members discuss advocacy, marketing efforts

Members of the Cultural Alliance of Niagara met recently to discuss collaborative advocacy and marketing efforts. CAN's goal is to increase familiarity and form partnerships with business, community and civic leaders so the sector has a more valued and integrated role in the life of Niagara County residents.

Standing, from left: Ann Marie Linnaberry of the Niagara County Historical Society and Erie Canal Discovery Center, Jennifer Swan of Arts Services Initiative, Amelia Blake of the Carrousel Museum, Carrie Veltri of Artpark, Irene Rykaszewski of the Lewiston Council on the Arts and Elaine Harrigan, of the Kenan Center.

Other member organizations include Carnegie Art Center, McClew Interpretative Center at Murphy Orchards, New York Power Authority, the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp., Old Fort Niagara and The Riviera Theater.
