The Sanborn Mill Co-op starts its summer-long outdoor flea market this weekend at the mill, 5890 Ward Road.

Vendors will set up outside the building to sell their wares Fridays through Sundays until winter. Stalls will vary week by week, as spaces are sold on a per-day or per-weekend basis, with room for more than 24 spots total each day.

"It's exciting, because we won't know who's coming until they sign up or show up," Mill owner Cori McKinstray-Michalak said.

So far, vendors include those selling produce, NASCAR and sports cards, books and jewelry.

McKinstray-Michalak said spaces at the flea market are open to those outside of the mill, as well.

"I'm hoping people who don't want to have garage sales at their home will take advantage of this safe place to downsize their homes and make some extra money," she said.

Spots range in size and start at $25 for one day or $40 for an entire weekend. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own display tables and may also bring tents or canopies for their booths.
