The third time will be the charm for the Village of Lewiston's popular clothing and shoe boutique, Angel to Apple. Owner Jamie Symmonds recently moved to a new location, her third on Center Street. As with the previous two treks, this relocation will allow her to offer a more creative merchandise display.

Angel to Apple is in the former Savory Sips location owned by Lewiston residents Keith and Linda Radford.

"After almost five years in my last location, I felt there was a need to find a new storefront that would allow me to thrive and grow my business," Symmonds said. "When I was approached by the Radfords, I was thrilled, to say the least. Their vision and dedication to improving their newly purchased property right in the heart of Center Street was in sync with my vision not only for my business, but for the Village of Lewiston, as well.

"The Radford's goals were to keep their building available and usable for retailers, which is also very important to me. I know that, not only myself, but several other retailers here in the village are concerned about continuously losing retail storefronts to more and more service-oriented businesses. It is important to keep a balance in order for Lewiston to remain the destination place that it has become. Plus, I have known Linda for many, many years, and I know that both she and Keith will make amazing landlords and have already made me feel unbelievably welcome."

The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce and its Lewiston Advisory Committee named Angel to Apple "Business of the Year" in 2012.

"Angel to Apple has been open for nine years this May, and it has been an amazing ride," Symmonds said. "Over the years, I have continued to grow and expand, and I still have additional plans for the shop in the future.

"Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing support and dedication I receive from my longtime employee, Kelly Hessinger; Katie Reynolds, who is new to the team, but has already proven herself to be an asset; and, of course, my amazing mother, Rachael Schebell. I am so unbelievably blessed to have them as part of the Angel to Apple team, as well as my other shop in town, Ever After Consignment Boutique. I wouldn't be here today without their support and dedication."
