Opportunities exist for local food vendors to be part of the excitement at Canalside

With summer quickly approaching, Buffalo-area residents and visitors are ready to dig in at Canalside, and there is a need for food vendors to satisfy their taste buds. Canalside is committed to providing opportunities for small businesses, including minority and women-owned corporations, organizations and vendors, to bring their cuisine to Buffalo's waterfront.

At this time, Canalside is accepting applications from vendors that can bring waterfront cuisine to the next level at special events and free Thursday concerts at Buffalo's revitalized waterfront.

Food vendors must be able to provide a temporary stand permit issued by the City of Buffalo, workers compensation certificate, certificate of insurance, a heath permit, their own electricity (generator) and be able to vend from a truck, cart, trailer or tent.

To view the 2015 food and beverage facility guide and apply to become a vendor, visit www.canalsidebuffalo.com/getinvolved/foodbeverage/. Submit your application to Canalside Food and Beverage Manager Kate Elliott at [email protected] by Friday, May 8.
