Company volunteers work to clean up neighborhood surrounding Larkin Building

First Niagara team members are volunteering their time to give back to the local community by hosting a "flash mob" cleanup day. Community members are encouraged to join us for a cleanup of the neighborhood surrounding the Larkin Building on Saturday. The "flash mob" will meet at the Hydraulic Street event lot located between Hydraulic Hearth and Flying Bison in two shifts, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1-5 p.m.

The flash mob is being held in recognition of Earth Day. First Niagara is partnering with the City of Buffalo, Larkin Co., Keep WNY Beautiful, Flying Bison and Hydraulic Hearth for this grassroots cleanup event.

"First Niagara believes in doing our part to make our community a cleaner and healthier place," said Elizabeth Gurney, executive director of the First Niagara Foundation. "We are proud to support this cleanup effort in the Larkin District, home to First Niagara's headquarters, and welcome new businesses to a neighborhood that provides a great place to live and work."
