The Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation's 16th annual golf raffle is taking place from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at the Sanborn Firehall, 5811 Buffalo St. The event offers golf enthusiasts the chance to win more than $20,000 in men's and women's golf-related equipment and trips.

All proceeds will benefit programs and services provided by Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Niagara County.

Admission includes a chance to win the main door prize featuring air travel for four to Palm Desert, California, four nights suite lodging at Marriott's Shadow Ridge Resort, two half-day lessons at the Marriott Golf Academy and two rounds of golf on the resort's course for the dates of Sept. 9-13. The trip is valued at more than $8,000. Ticket purchasers do not have to be present to win.

Tickets are $50 and include admission, dinner and a chance to win the grand prize trip and one of 10 major prizes, some of which include Titleist AP1 Irons, Taylor Made RBZ Irons, and a Tour Edge Bazooka Hybrid/Iron Set. Both men's and women's prizes will be featured along with left-handed clubs. The event also includes a cash bar, side raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Only 500 tickets are available. Those interested in purchasing tickets are encouraged to purchase in advance by calling Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara at 716-297-6400, ext. 335, or visiting online at www.opportunitiesunlimited.org. Any tickets not sold during the presale period will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door, the day of the event.

The mission of the Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation is to provide a long-term source of financial support that ensures people with developmental disabilities have opportunities toward independence and integration within the community.
