St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church basket auction

On April 25, the Women's Club of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church will hold its annual basket auction and raffle event. This popular fundraiser will be held in the parish hall at 1073 Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31). Doors open at 11 a.m. and tickets will be drawn at 7 p.m. All winners not present will be contacted by phone.

Hundreds of baskets and gift certificates will be raffled. The $7 entry fee includes a sheet of 25 basket auction tickets. Additional sheets can be purchased for $5 each or five sheets for $20. A "big ticket" raffle also will be held that day. Items to be raffled include a choice of a flat-screen TV, iPad tablet, Kitchen Aid Mixer, gas grill, five-piece bistro-style patio set, or a $250 gift card.

Raffle tickets are priced at $2 each or six for $10.

Food will be available all day, including the famous "Peach Festival chicken souvlaki." Homemade pastries and desserts will be sold.
