Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Walden Galleria this Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs, including Frankie, an Aussie-shepherd mix, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Walden Galleria Mall (in front of Williams Sonoma - lower level/Sears side) in Cheektowaga.

The public is invited to come and find out more about the adoption process, fostering, volunteer opportunities, animal care and upcoming meetings/events. Dog food donations of Science Diet and Purina One will be gladly accepted at the adoption event.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 280 animals. They operate solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Volunteer meetings take place at 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St. Meetings are open to the public. New volunteers are welcome.
