'80s icon Boy George to mentor top 11 finalists and perform on " '80s Night" Wednesday

Thursday night, in a dramatic moment, finalist Qaasim Middleton was saved from elimination after the "American Idol" XIV judges - Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. - unanimously agreed to use the save when it was revealed he received the lowest number of votes. Middleton will continue in the competition as he takes the stage with the remaining finalists next week.

During the show, legendary musician, producer and this week's mentor, Nile Rodgers, premiered a sneak peak of his new single, "I'll Be There." The full-length music video is available exclusively on Facebook. It stars Karlie Kloss, and is available on Rodgers' official Facebook page.

It was also announced the top 11 "American Idol" finalists will sing the national anthem and serve as grand marshals prior to the start of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400 race this weekend at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California (airing at 3 p.m. Sunday on FOX).

Next Wednesday (8 p.m.), '80s singer Boy George will mentor the finalists for " '80s Night," and perform - with the finalists - his hit song with Culture Club, "Karma Chameleon."

The following week, the first "American Idol" winner, Kelly Clarkson, returns to mentor and perform (8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, on FOX.
