The head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet, recently announced this year's National Small Business Week will be held from May 4-8. The theme will be "SBA: Dream Big, Start Small."
Contreras-Sweet will highlight the week with small business events in Miami, Los Angeles, San Antonio, New York City and Washington, D.C., where national winners will be recognized and awarded. Additionally, recognition events throughout SBA's 10 regions and 68 districts will be held throughout the months of May and June.
Every year since 1963, SBA has taken the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week.
As events are finalized, more details will be posted online at www.sba.gov/smallbusinessweek.
