Cases of spring fever are at epidemic proportions this year. The Spring Fever Antique Fair is arriving just in time to provide the perfect cure. The Niagara Art Trail will present the third annual event Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14.

Once again taking place at the Kenan Center Arena in Lockport, it will, for the first time, be a two-day show. This is the spring version of the biannual event and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Browse and shop antiques and collectibles from upward of 80 booths on display. Vendors from all over New York and as far away as Columbus, Ohio, are slated to be on hand with a wide variety of items.

The show opens for an early bird hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday for an admission fee of $6 per person. During regular hours, general admission is $3 per person from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Children 12 and under are admitted at no charge to this family-friendly event when accompanied by an adult. Discount admission coupons are available online at www.NiagaraArtTrail.com.

Food and beverages provided by Reids II will be available for purchase.

The Kenan Center Arena is located at 433 Locust St., with an east entrance at 195 Beattie Ave. There is plenty of free parking and porters will be available to help load purchases.

"The Kenan Center venue has allowed us the space to grow. And these shows have grown by leaps and bounds," Niagara Art Trail manager Jay Krull said. "Each show has brought in new vendors and, in turn, more buyers. We have been hearing comments from dealers and attendees alike that this is now considered one of the area's 'bigger shows.' We are pleased to hear that and are excited that we have been able to bring such an event to Lockport."

No appraisals or presentations will be offered at the show this year. However, there will once again be a basket raffle. Items have been donated by several of the vendors, as well as area businesses, with some prizes featuring antiques or collectibles, as well as artwork. Proceeds will benefit the YWCA's anti-domestic violence campaign. There will be two door-prize drawings (one for the shoppers and one for dealers).

To rent a booth, call the Niagara Art Trail at 716-609-0433 or download the application at www.NiagaraArtTrail.com.
