Science fiction film and TV star Lance Henriksen is set to portray Bill "Bud" McCready in the NBC hit drama "The Blacklist." Henriksen will appear in this Thursday's episode, titled "T. Earl King (No. 94)," and then in some additional episodes.

McCready is a fit, tough-looking coach who does job placement for the criminal underworld. Henriksen, meanwhile, is an American actor and artist best known to film and television audiences for his roles in science fiction, action, and horror films, including the "Alien" franchise ("Aliens," "Alien3" and "Alien vs. Predator"), "Powder," "The Quick & The Dead" and "Near Dark." Henriksen also is a voice actor (he is noted for his deep, commanding voice).

Henriksen starred in the television series "Millennium" as Frank Black, a former FBI agent who possessed a unique ability to see into the minds of killers. Henriksen's performance on "Millennium" earned him critical acclaim, a People's Choice Award nomination for Favorite New Male TV Star, and three consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series.

"The Blacklist" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. It stars James Spader and Megan Boone.
