Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue at Boulevard Mall Saturday

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 28, at The Boulevard Mall (Sears Court), corner of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Maple Road, Amherst. Come meet Molly, Rocky and Simon, are all up for adoption and waiting patiently for their forever homes.

Photos and information on these and all of the rescue's adorable and deserving animals is available on the HON website, www.heartofniagara.org, and current updates are available on the group's Facebook page. The public is invited to come and find out more about the adoption process, fostering, volunteer opportunities, animal care and upcoming meetings and events.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, volunteers have adopted out more than 275 animals. They operate solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.

Volunteer meetings take place from 6:30-8 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month at First Presbyterian Church, 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston. Meetings are open to the public; new volunteers are always welcome. For more information, visit the HON website or call 716-345-7129.
