New Era cap can be purchased at (716) immediately following conclusion of Super Bowl XLIX

New Era Cap Co. and HARBORCENTER today announced (716) Food and Sport will be one of the only places in Western New York to purchase a New Era Super Bowl champion XLIX locker room cap immediately following the big game's conclusion.

"We're proud to partner with New Era to give fans and collectors an opportunity to obtain an item that is annually among football's most desired," HARBORCENTER VP of Food & Beverage Dom Verni said. "Since opening our doors in November, (716) has become one of Western New York's ultimate sports fan destinations. As we prepare to host the area's best party for football's biggest event, we're excited about the opportunity to cap off another great sports dining experience in our restaurant by making the hat immediately available to our guests."

"We are genuinely excited to work with our teammates in Buffalo to provide unique opportunities and experiences to our community, and we look forward to doing this more in the future," added New Era Cap Senior Marketing Manager-Football/CORE Ryan DiNunzio.

The official Super Bowl champion cap is a dark base with a rectangular logo in the championship team's colors, and the words "Super Bowl XLIX Champions 02.01.15" along with the championship team's primary logo. This nine forty silhouette cap is difficult for the general public to obtain on game night away from the Super Bowl host sight.

The cost of the hat will be $26.99. Additionally, (716) will offer a knit cap with the Super Bowl XLIX logo for $20.99.

The opportunity to purchase the New Era Super Bowl champion cap adds another unique element to the party at (716) Food and Sport. In addition to viewing the game on the restaurant's 38-foot television screen, attendees will enjoy a high-energy atmosphere that includes cheerleaders and giveaways from (716), the Buffalo Bills and One Buffalo. Patrons will be automatically entered into a big game squares contest and will receive a commemorative football-themed pint glass. There will be a Vince Lombardi Trophy ice sculpture on hand for individual photos.

To honor the cities competing in the big game, the (716) staff has compiled a special menu that highlights culinary favorites from the New England and Seattle areas, along with game-themed food and drink specials.

All reserve tables have been sold out for the highly anticipated event, but a limited number of bar stools are still available and can be reserved online at www.HARBORCENTER.com. There will be a limited amount of space for walk-up guests.

(716) Food and Sport is located inside HARBORCENTER in downtown Buffalo (across from First Niagara Center).
