Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick announced Thursday the Island Dispatch was once again named an official newspaper of the Erie County Legislature. The designation was confirmed at the Jan. 8 reorganizational meeting of the legislature.
"The Erie County Legislature and Island Dispatch have formed a great partnership and I am pleased that the legislature will once again be working with Grand Island's community newspaper in 2015," said Hardwick. "As an official newspaper, the Island Dispatch provides a great service to the residents and businesses in Erie County by printing information concerning local laws, notices and other matters."
