The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will again provide fans a chance to do some holiday shopping while supporting the Buffalo Sabres Foundation with the return of their annual autographed light-up ornament surprise.

With a $20 donation, fans will receive a light-up holiday ornament autographed by one of the Buffalo Sabres players. The ornaments will be on sale in the 100-level pavilion when the Sabres face the Florida Panthers Saturday at 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

Starting at 5 p.m., the Sabres' wives and girlfriends will begin selling the ornaments at tables on both wings of the First Niagara Center 100-level pavilion. The ornaments will be sold gift-wrapped, keeping the player who autographed each one a surprise. The tables will remain open until the end of the game's second intermission.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York not-for-profit corporation that is committed to stimulating, supporting and encouraging organizations that serve Western New York and are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged /disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athletes. The foundation provides financial generosity and other platforms.
