'Holiday Lights of Niagara' begins

Join the celebration to kick-off the holiday season at the "Holiday Lights of Niagara" opening ceremony tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Hyde Park in Niagara Falls.

The lights in Hyde Park officially open to the public today and run through Dec. 31. The lights run every day from 5-10 p.m. and are free to the public. Families will be able to drive or walk a stretch of enchanting and mystical winter wonderland displays. They can enjoy this holiday spectacular from the convenience and comfort of their vehicles and be entertained by illuminated and animated holiday themes and depictions.

The United Way of Greater Niagara and the City of Niagara Falls present the "Holiday Lights of Niagara." There will be more than 50 displays in Hyde Park with free carriage rides from 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday.
