Team to donate a pair of tickets to Wednesday's game for each presenting donor

The Buffalo Sabres are supporting a Unyts blood drive today, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., at the Eastern Hills Mall. The team is urging the community to donate.

After being forced to cancel blood drives due to the storm, it is critical Unyts has a strong turnout by donors to ensure local hospitals have blood available for patients across Western New York.

WHO:

The Buffalo Sabres, in conjunction with Unyts. Player appearances throughout the afternoon.

WHAT:All presenting donors will receive a pair of tickets to Wednesday's game at the First Niagara Center, donated by the Buffalo Sabres.

WHEN:Monday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

WHERE: Eastern Hills Mall Neighborhood Blood Donation Center, 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville

One single pint of blood can save up to three lives in Western New York. When one gives blood with Unyts, it stays here locally.

Unyts is the primary supplier of blood products to Kaleida Health, ECMC and all the hospitals in Niagara and Wyoming counties.

To schedule an appointment, call 716-512-7940 or visit www.unyts.org and click "GIVE BLOOD."
