NFP announces pumpkin-carving, Facebook contest winners

Following a strong round of entries in its pumpkin-carving competition, and a string of new "Likes" on Facebook, Niagara Frontier Publications has announced the winners of its annual fall contests.

Congratulations to top carvers Paul Yaeger of Grand Island (first place), Nancy Tebo of Lewiston (second place), and North Tonawanda's Merrie Carole Strangio and family (third place).

Grand Island's Pat Proctor won a $50 gift certificate to Casa Antica in Lewiston for "Liking" NFP's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/wnypapers.

Additional prizes were presented courtesy of Greg's Pools in Lewiston, the Aquarium of Niagara and Old Fort Niagara.
