The Summit View Residents Association will present its annual basket auction in the Community Room at Summit View Apartments, 7210 Williams Road. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Dec. 6.
In addition to the gift baskets, there will be gift certificates and a raffle that includes a 40- inch flat-screen TV (first prize), $100 (second prize) and $75 (third prize). A second raffle for a hand-made burgundy and red, bed-size afghan also will be held.
Crafts made by residents will be available, and a bake sale of a variety of home-baked products, as well as candy sleds and trains made by members, will be offered, too.
Prizes will be awarded at 4 p.m.
