Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation fundraiser at Salvatore's

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation announces its 2014 fundraiser to benefit JDRF programs. "Win for Diabetes - the 2014 Grapes & Hops Fall Fest" takes place 6:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road in Depew.

The age 21-and-older event features German food and treats, beer and wine tastings, a basket auction and "most original beer stein" and jack-o-lantern contests.

Guests can enter a raffle to win the following:

•Grand prize - A Buffalo Sabres player jersey (St. Patrick's Day edition game-worn by Tyler Ennis).

•Second prize - A Danby Draft Kegerator provided by the KegWorks Store of Buffalo.

•Third prize - A wine package, complete with fridge, by the Merritt Estate Winery of Forestville.

•Fourth prize - A $200 Tops gift card.

•Fifth prize - A $100 Cabala's gift card.

Tickets to the "Grapes & Hops Fall Fest" are priced at $35 per person.

Raffle tickets cost $20 each. A total of 500 will be sold. Winner need not be present to claim a prize.
