Jeff Becker, exalted ruler of the Ken-Ton Elks, and Rich Donn, New York state vice president, recently reviewed plans for the 39th annual Charity Ball in support of the New York State Elks Association Home Service Program. The ball will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, at Samuel's Grande Manor. To purchase dinner tickets, a program ad, or for more information, leave a message at the Ken-Ton Lodge at 716-871-9097.

All proceeds from the event will go to major projects. To date, the Elks have contributed more than $20 million to this nonprofit program.

In 1964, the New York State Elks Association and CPS of New York State established the Home Service Program. It provides direct services to adults and children with disabilities, as well as their families, in their home communities. Home service directors provide referrals for appropriate evaluations and program services, advocacy, counseling, follow-up and program development.

This program is the single largest information and referral service of its kind in the state.
