Destino's Pizza & Pasta is observing its 10-year anniversary at 3909 Creek Road, next to the Lewiston-Porter campus. Frank Destino, the owner, credits his family: wife, Francine; daughters, Jamah and Dana; and stepson, Anthony; with helping make the restaurant a success.

"We pride ourselves in our family and treating our customers like our own family," Frank said. "We have met a lot of people in our 10 years and made a lot of new friends."

Destino's Pizza & Pasta regularly has been involved in the Youngstown and Lewiston communities during its 10 years of business.

The Lewiston-Porter elementary reading program rewards students that read a certain number of books with pizza courtesy of Destino's.

Local police, fire, hospital, churches, private fundraisers and numerous other organizations have benefited from the generosity of Destino's.

"The key to success is friendly service and top-quality food at a reasonable price." Frank said. "When you have a business in a close community, you have to be involved in it, as well."

To celebrate its 10 years of business and thank his customers for their patronage, Frank is holding customer appreciation days Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30-31.

Customers can take advantage of six $10 deals (price before tax):

•Small pizza pie with cheese and one topping, along with 10 chicken wings;

•Two large regular subs;

•Large pizza pie with cheese; and up to three regular item pizza toppings;

•Three burritos;

•Two spaghetti dinners with meatball, roll and butter;

•10 chicken fingers or 20 chicken wings.
