Bob Herman, Town of Niagara highway superintendent; Dave Grenier, division manager at Republic Services (Allied); and town highway staff, Bob Everard, Ryan Taylor, Barry Mitchell and Phil Mitchell show off the town's new hot box that was purchased with funds received from Republic Services.

A hot box is used in road work to keep blacktop warm as workers patch and repair town roads.

The Republic funding came from additional landfill tonnage fees owed to the town after the company's audit.
