Dunkin' Donuts, Buffalo-area law enforcement officials to join forces for 'Cops on Top' to benefit Special Olympics

Dunkin' Donuts guests to receive free coffee as a thank you for donating to Special Olympics New York

Dunkin' Donuts will team up with law enforcement officials in the greater Buffalo area to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics athletes with a rooftop sit-in at participating Dunkin' Donuts locations.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Buffalo-area law enforcement officials will take to the roofs of several Dunkin' Donuts restaurants from 6 to 11 a.m. for "Cops on Top" to benefit Special Olympics New York. Members of the community are invited to attend the sit-in to support the officers, visit with Special Olympics athletes and their families, and make donations to Special Olympics New York.

Dunkin' Donuts will offer guests a coupon for a free coffee as a thank you when making a monetary donation to the Special Olympics New York at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants, including: 5165 Main St., Williamsville; 5073 Camp Road, Hamburg; 5760 Transit Road, Depew; 6601 Niagara Fall Blvd., Niagara Falls; 3929 Vineyard Drive, Dunkirk; 2260 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield; 598 Main St., Buffalo (7 to 11 a.m.); 2340 Delaware Ave., Buffalo; and 1145 Union Road, West Seneca.

"Dunkin' Donuts is honored to host Buffalo-area law enforcement officers to benefit Special Olympics New York through 'Cops on Top,' " said Tamara Tenenbaum, field marketing manager for Dunkin' Donuts. "We encourage our loyal guests to join us as we support Special Olympics New York and its mission to provide sports training and athletic competition for those with developmental disabilities."

Dunkin' Donuts also will offer guests additional thank you gifts in gratitude for donations, including one pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee with a $50 donation; and two pounds of Dunkin' Donuts coffee with a $100 donation.
