First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown announces new Tuesday night Bible classes will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Church Fellowship Hall, 100 Church St.
To run on four Tuesdays - Sept. 9, 16, 23 at 30 - the program will have its focus on the Book of Acts, which appears in the Bible following the Gospels and tells the story of the early church. Through instructive course sessions, participants will compare current practices and beliefs to those of the early Christians, discuss the changes and perhaps even gain some insight and ideas on changing back to earlier practices.
