The third annual Niagara Catholic Jr./Sr. High School Alumni Weekend ended Monday with the Marty Violante Memorial Golf Classic at Niagara Frontier Country Club. More than 100 golfers and guests were in attendance for the event, which honored Lou Fernandez this year.

Niagara Catholic supporters came from across the U.S. Many local supporters from across Western New York came to support the golf tournament, too.

The day included lunch before a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, followed by cocktail hour and dinner. The evening ended with the awards ceremony, where Lou's son, Jim Fernandez, spoke words of thanks for honoring his father.

The day's winning threesome was Mario Violante, Nick Violante and Tim Violante (pictured), who thanked guests for coming to support the tournament, which honors the late Marty Violante.

Niagara Catholic's Alumni Weekend also included a donor appreciation social on Friday evening, a 5K run/1.5K walk Saturday morning, and the alumni awards dinner at Antonio's Restaurant, Banquet and Catering Center Saturday evening.
