Obit: Michele M. (Geiger) Breier

Michele M. (Geiger) Breier entered into rest Jan. 7, 2014.

Michele was born and raised in Buffalo and grew up in a very a hard-working family. Her drive to succeed started at a very young age as she started her working career pumping gas for her father. Throughout her senior year of high school, Michele became a stock girl at The Limited. After graduating high school, Michele went to beauty school and earned her beauticians license, but chose to stay with The Limited instead of pursuing a career in the beauty industry. Michele's hard work quickly paid off as she worked her way up to becoming the district sales manager of all Buffalo and Rochester Limited stores. After nearly two decades, Michele decided to leave retail and pursue a career in sales. She started at an entry-level inside sales position and after receiving many promotions became a district sales manager at Super Media. While working with Super Media, she pursued and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business management at Medaille College.

Michele married her high school sweetheart and was the beloved wife of James Breier Jr. Together they raised three beautiful children and she was a cherished mother to James III, Christina, and Haley. She is the adoring grandmother of Brayden and Brody, treasured daughter of Patricia and Harold Geiger Sr., and the sister of Harold (Cheryl) Geiger Jr., Michael Geiger and the late Deborah Geiger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was an incredibly strong woman with a heart filled with nothing but love. She had such a unique way of opening her arms and touching the lives of everyone she encountered, always leaving nothing but a positive impact. Her smile and laugh were contagious and she truly was, and forever will be, a beautiful person inside and out.

Friends may call Friday, Jan. 10, from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen R.C. Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
