Buffalo Brewer's Festival comes to Canalside July 19

The first ever Buffalo Brewer's Festival, featuring more than 30 New York brewers and approximately 70 different craft beers, will be held at Canalside Saturday, July 19, from 3 to 10 p.m. The event is hosted by the Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association in partnership with Canalside, and features live music by national headlining artist J.J. Grey & Mofro, and Tumbleweed Wanderers, as well as regional favorites Big Leg Emma, Steam Donkeys and Pine Fever.

"Our festival is truly like no other," said Willard Brooks, chairperson of the BNBA. "We've assembled New York state's top brewers, farmers and food artisans for a day-long celebration of the burgeoning craft beer scene. If you love locally produced craft beer, great tasting food and live music on the Buffalo waterfront, then you won't want to miss this event."

Breweries featured at the event include Adirondack, Barrier Brewing Co., Birdland Brewing Co., Blackbird Cider, Brooklyn Brewery, Captain Lawrence Brewing Co., CB Craft Brewers, Community Beer Works, Ellicottville Brewing Co., Flying Bison Brewing Co., Galaxy, Gordon Biersch, Grimm, Hamburg Brewing Co., Horseheads, Ithaca, Keuka, Lake Placid Pub & Brewery, New Buffalo Brewing Co., Old First Ward, Ommegang, Pan Am Grill & Brewery, Pearl Street Grill & Brewery, Resurgence, Ringside Beer, Roc, Rogers Beer, Rohrbach, Saranac, Shmaltz, Single Cut Beersmiths, Southern Tier Brewing Co., Spider Bite Beer Co., St Lawerence, Three Heads Brewing, and Woodcock Brothers Brewing Co.
