Cathleen Anderson is the new assistant vice president for enrollment management at Niagara University, effective Aug. 4.

At NU, Anderson will provide leadership to the areas of undergraduate admissions and oversee operations in the offices of student records and financial services. With a strategic focus on the development of new markets and financial planning, Anderson will be instrumental in the development and execution of a strategic enrollment plan with a focus on student recruitment and retention.

"We are very pleased to add someone with Cathy's talents, credentials and personality to our enrollment management team," said Dr. Kevin Hearn, vice president for enrollment management and student affairs. "This is an exciting time at Niagara University, and Cathy will play an integral role in helping prospective students to recognize the myriad of opportunities that await them on our campus."

Anderson comes to Niagara from LeMoyne College (Syracuse), where she worked in admissions for more than 17 years. She is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, and the New York State Transfer and Articulation Association.

Anderson holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from SUNY Potsdam and an M.S. in education from SUNY Oneonta.
