The Niagara County Genealogical Society will present the free program "The What and How of Lineage Groups" at 7 p.m. June 25 at 215 Niagara St., Lockport.
Guests speakers, Michelle Kratts Elijah, B.A. Monroe and Conrad Janik Jr., will speak on what lineage groups are, how you can belong to a group and how they can help in researching your family history.
Kratts will be presenting on the Daughters of the American Revolution, Monroe on the General Society of the War of 1812 and Janik on the Mayflower Society, the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Order of the Second World War.
The public is welcome.
