The Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board is scheduled to meet Monday, June 23, at 3 p.m. at the Power Vista, the visitors center for the New York Power Authority's Niagara Power Project, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston.
The proceeds board is expected to make funding recommendations under legislation signed into law by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to apply the net earnings of the market sale of unutilized hydropower from the NYPA's Niagara project to support the growth of businesses in the region.
Consistent with Section 104(4) of the Open Meetings Law, the public has the right to attend Monday's meeting, which will be video streamed at http://www.nypa.gov/wnyppab.
