For the third year in a row, TripAdvisor - known as "the world's largest travel site" - has bestowed its prestigious Certificate of Excellence upon both Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls and Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel in Salamanca. Only select properties on the online site receive the award for frequent and consistent positive reviews with a minimum overall rating of 4-out-of-5 stars by travel reviewers.
The Certificate of Excellence honors hospitality excellence worldwide, and just the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive the accolade. In addition to the minimum overall "4" rating, businesses must be listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months and achieve a steady volume of reviews.
"TripAdvisor is pleased to honor exceptional hospitality businesses for consistent excellence," said Marc Charron, president of TripAdvisor for Business. "The Certificate of Excellence award gives top-performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most - their customers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, we want to applaud exceptional hospitality businesses for offering TripAdvisor travelers a great customer experience."
The Seneca casino resort properties in Niagara Falls and Salamanca opened, respectively, on Dec. 31, 2002, and May 1, 2004 - each adding hotels on Dec. 31, 2005, and March 30, 2007. They also represent two of the three AAA Four Diamond Award properties in Western New York for luxurious accommodations and superior guest service.
"World-class quality and remarkable service come together to create a dynamic atmosphere at our resort properties," said Catherine Walker, president and CEO, Seneca Gaming Corp. "Everyone on our team is committed to offering the highest quality resorts and creating memorable experiences for each of our more than 15 million annual guests during each visit. We're honored to be recognized by TripAdvisor and its many reviewers for achieving that goal."
