Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging. It is a progressive and fatal brain disease that is the most common form of dementia.
"The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease," is a workshop presented by the Alzheimer's Association Western New York Chapter for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The Lewiston Public Library at 305 South Eighth St. will host this workshop from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
The workshop is free and open to the public, but because seating is limited, reservations are requested by calling 1-800-272-3900.
