Bob Koshinski welcomed Dan Kelly, vice chairman of the Kelly for Kids Foundation, and brother of Buffalo's Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, to "All Sports WNY" on WBBZ-TV Tuesday.

As Jim is battling a second round of mouth cancer, Dan updated Koshinski on Jim's status, telling him Jim is going home, and does not have any nerve pain today. Dan noted the recent introduction of a feeding tube has helped the recovery process. He said Jim is the personification of "Kelly Tough," and thanked the Western New York community for the well wishes, and #PrayersForJK.

Jim's wife, Jill, has been posting photos and updates on social media - most recently a picture of the Bills top NFL Draft choice Sammy Watkins, who visited Jim at the hospital. Jim was hoping Watkins would be selected. The wideout has now officially been welcomed to the team by the Kelly family and is expected to participate in the 28th annual Jim Kelly Football Camp this summer at Sweet Home.

When asked if Jim would be up to visit in his annual golf tournament, June 1-2, Dan commented, "Don't rule anything out!"

He said Jim is steadfast in wanting to keep the Buffalo Bills here in Western New York, while Bob noted Jim might have more comment on that in the coming days.

"All Sports WNY" is on-the-air Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. (encore Wednesday at 9 a.m.) on WBBZ-TV, and online at www.allsportswny.com.
